Founded by the talented Cuban musician Flavio Arias—who grew up immersed in the island’s rich musical tradition and savored it to the fullest before bringing his talent to Europe in 2001—the band reimagines Cuban classics with modern, fresh, and distinctive arrangements. The result? An explosion of infectious rhythms! While passionate salsa dancers will find this band the perfect companion for really letting loose on the dance floor, AZUCAR’s show goes far beyond dancing. With bold lyrics, an infectious zest for life, and a unique musical versatility, this is an absolute must-see for all lovers of good music. The band Azúcar consists of: • Flavio Arias (vocals and percussion), • Jesús Camaraza (Cuban “tres” guitar & vocals), • Dudu Penz (bass), • Rodrigo Botter Maio (saxophone and flute) • Special guest musician: Robert Marcano (guitar and vocals). If the “Outdoor Tavolata” event is canceled due to bad weather, the band Azúcar will perform at the Bar @ Di Alt Apotheke. Thank you
