Description
Snowshoeing is the ideal activity for your winter holiday in the Andermatt holiday region. Away from the slopes, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the snow-covered mountain landscape while staying active. With the digital guest card, the hire of snowshoes and poles worth CHF 20 is included in the price.
Depending on snow conditions, the guided tours take you on carefully selected routes through the winter mountain world – for example to Gamsboden, on a circular hike near Realp or on the Andermatt–Hospental–Andermatt route. Each tour offers its own scenic diversity.
Meeting Point
10:30 am in front of Andermatt train station (exit towards the village). Depending on the tour, we will travel together by bus or train to the starting point.
Return to Andermatt at around 2:30 pm
Requirements
Elevation gain: max. 250 m ascent and descent
Pure hiking time: max. 3 hours
Equipment
Warm, sturdy winter or high hiking boots
Snowshoes and poles
Windproof ski clothing
Gloves, hat
Sun protection (glasses, cream, possibly a hat)
Drink and small picnic
