Active travel in autumn: what you need to know

Autumn shows itself at its best in the Andermatt Holiday Region – the forests are ablaze with colour, while the first snow has already fallen at higher altitudes. This means that some hiking trails are only accessible to a limited extent or are no longer accessible at all.

Please note:

• Some signage has already been removed.

• Check the current conditions before setting off on your tour.

No longer accessible:

• Urschner Höhenweg trail

• Area around Rotondo hut

• Area around Albert-Heim-Hut

• Area around Vermigel hut

• Area around Furka Pass

• Area around Gotthard Pass

• Gloria Trail Lutersee

• Unteralp circular trails Rohr and Mur

• Lake Toma: Closed due to rockfall hazard

• Andermatt – Göschenen through the Schöllenen Gorge: Closed due to rockfall hazard

• Diavolo via ferrata: Closed
