Exciting new highlights for the summer season 2025

Advance Sale of Annual Pass 2025/26: Book your annual pass between 28 May and 6 July 2025 and benefit from a 20% discount. Valid in summer and winter – including Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn in winter for winter sports enthusiasts.

New construction of the Val Val – Cuolm Val and Val Val – Calmut chairlifts: The 4-seater chairlifts Val Val–Cuolm Val and Val Val–Calmut, built in 1988, are being replaced by modern 6-seater chairlifts. The new lifts double the capacity to 2,400 people per hour and reduce travel time. Construction starts in spring 2024, with opening planned for early December 2025. New Desertasol solar plant in Caischavedra: Since 1993, the largest solar plant in the Alps has stood in Caischavedra at 1,860 m above sea level. It is now being renewed. Construction begins in spring 2025, partial commissioning in autumn 2025, and full operation will follow in the subsequent years.

Renovation of the Catrina Lodge Disentis: The rooms at the Catrina Lodge are being newly renovated – cosy, charming and perfect for relaxing. A welcoming terrace with panoramic views invites guests to linger – ideal for a relaxing end to an active day.

Mountain summer evenings at Matti: Thanks to cable car operations until 9 p.m., you can enjoy the mountain world at your leisure – whether on foot, by bike or at the climbing wall. The family restaurant Matti and the climbing wall are also open until 9 p.m. – ideal for connoisseurs and mountain lovers. Dates: 25 July, 8 & 15 August, 5 September 2025.

Red Bull X-Alps 2025: From 15 to 20 June, Disentis Sedrun is an official turnpoint of the world’s toughest adventure race. During the Red Bull X-Alps, around 30 athletes cover up to 150 km daily on foot and by paraglider – a spectacular competition full of endurance, strategy and flight skills across the Alps.

Thömus Bike Days in Disentis – 13 to 16 July 2025: Train with the – in small, level-appropriate groups, ideal for beginners and ambitious riders. Only 40 spots available. Stylish accommodation and wellness included to complete the biking experience.

Guided road bike tours & community rides: The Swiss Snow Sports School Andermatt now offers guided road bike tours – including weekly community rides every Friday. Experience the impressive mountain scenery together.
