Schneehüenerstock - Nätschen Gütsch

Where previously only the military could reach the secret fortress inside Schneehüenerstock by cable car, hikers can now also enjoy an airy ride to this fantastic viewpoint. From the restaurant terrace, we enjoy a wonderful panoramic view all the way to the Ticino mountains. Our hike begins with a short descent to the Lutersee, which lies embedded in a hollow at the foot of Grossschijen. We settle down on the shore for a while and enjoy the view of snow-covered peaks. Then, on an old military road, we go comfortably up to the Gütsch mountain station; there is enough space and breath to walk side by side and chat.
