Andermatt - Lago di Lucendro

The route starts in Andermatt and leads you along the Reuss towards Hospental. From there, the continuous ascent towards the Gotthard Pass begins. Just before the pass height, you turn off onto a natural road that leads you through the impressive high mountain landscape to the Alpe di Lucendro at around 2,181 m above sea level – with views of Lago di Lucendro, one of the distinctive reservoirs in the Gotthard area. The route convinces with a varied course and impressive landscapes. Particularly exciting is the change between historic pass paths, modern road routing and alpine natural scenery.
