Bergseehütte SAC

The hut path begins directly at the Göscheneralp reservoir (Hotel Dammagletscher station). From the Postauto stop at the Berggasthaus Dammagletscher, a well-marked path leads toward the Bergseehütte. From there, the Bergseehütte can be reached by a 2-hour walk. After the first ascent, colorful ponds and beautiful moor landscapes appear. Then follows a steeper section to the Bergseehütte. The hut path is regularly maintained by the hut warden and is in good condition.

The Bergseehütte is especially known among climbers. Many mountain guides frequent the hut, offering various alpine routes from here.
