Description
The Chli Bielenhorn is a popular destination for ski tours. The route winds through an impressive high-alpine landscape featuring rugged granite peaks, steep glaciers, and striking rock faces. From the summit, a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains unfolds.
The tour starts in Realp and initially follows the Furka Pass Road. The route then follows the summer hiking trail to the edge of the Tiefen Glacier. From there, it continues leftward uphill to the Chli Bielenhorn, where a sweeping view of the surrounding peaks awaits.
There are several options for the descent:
Return via the same route.
Descend via the Sidelen Hut and the Furka Pass Road back to Realp. This option is steeper and more challenging than the classic route.
Those who wish to shorten the tour or split it over two days can spend the night at the Albert-Heim Hut, in Tiefenbach, or at the Sidelen Hut. The ascent via the Sidelen Hut should be considered an alternative to the route described above.
