Description
The culinary journey begins at the Disentis/Mustér train station. Every Monday, farmer Marcus Duff sets up his market stall next to the station building, where he sells farm and alpine products such as flavorful cheese and crisp vegetables. While strolling through Disentis, you might come across Stiva Grischuna—a top destination for fine dining—or the Goldmann Bakery, where it’s well worth picking up a nut cake to take home. The monastery shop also offers a treasure trove of culinary delights: from monastery mustard to monastery yogurt to monastery tea. The route then continues through Segnas, past farm shops and the Sialm meat-drying facility, and on through Cuoz—where gourmets are sure to be delighted by the Restaurant otg—before returning to Disentis.
The excursion map for the digital route can be found here.
