Description

At the train station in Segnas, we first hike up to the village. During the French raid in 1799, Segnas was spared from fires, allowing the several hundred-year-old farmhouses to be preserved today. On the forest road to Alp Run Cunel, it goes gently uphill, then we switch to a hiking trail that, after several hairpin bends, leads us to the Mises dil Bostg. This is the highest point of the hike, a reason to take a break and study the mountain panorama with and without eternal snow. Above Bugnei, we encounter a young forest that arose after the Vivian storm through reforestation and is now richer in species than ever. The descent to Sedrun is very easy.

From Sedrun, we return by train to Segnas.
