Description

The Sewenhütte, located at 2148 m above sea level, towers on the right, sunny side terrace of the Meiental. The view is magnificent: On the opposite side of the valley, you can see two of the highest mountains in the canton of Uri, the Fleckistock (3416 m above sea level) and the Stucklistock (3312 m above sea level). To the west, the Fünffingerstöcke and the Wendenhorn. Down the valley, you catch a glimpse of the little village of Meien.

The hut approach has been converted into a dwarf trail. The Seewensee invites you to cool off and take a boat ride. Near the hut are several climbing gardens from difficulty grades 3 to 6. Another attraction is the zipline, through which children can swoosh through the mountain air.
