Description
Astrid Alexandre is a singer and multi-instrumentalist with Belgian-Romansh roots. Her voice is at the heart of her work, shaped by multilingualism: she sings in Romansh, French, and English, thereby blending different sonic landscapes. With *RESONANZAS*, she presents her third album—a work that, while released as a solo album, is strongly influenced by the playing of the Graubünden-based double bassist Rees Coray. Together, the two musicians bring the album’s songs to life on stage in the intimate setting of the Medelina. In doing so, they explore the resonances that have emerged throughout this project: between languages, voices, and instruments; between inner exploration and shared dialogue.
