Description

Spend three days touring on skis or a splitboard, discover the winter mountain world of the Surselva, and develop your skills along the way: This camp combines varied tours with practical training and shared experiences in the mountains.

The starting point is Camping Viva in Rueras. Together with mountain guide Andrea Jacomet, you will explore the surrounding mountains and learn how to plan tours more consciously, assess terrain and snow conditions, and make independent decisions. The focus is not on covering as many vertical meters as possible, but on traveling safely and independently. You will learn to recognize warning signs, choose your own route, and deepen your knowledge step by step.

Even outside of the tours, there is time for shared exchange and cozy moments. You can stay directly at Camping Viva, either in your own camper or in a reserved tiny home.

Requirements

You already have some experience with ski touring or splitboarding and want to expand your skills. You feel comfortable skiing in deep snow and have the necessary fitness for tours lasting up to four hours of walking time and around 1,000 meters of ascent.

What to Expect

For three days, you will be out in the winter mountain world around Rueras with mountain guide Andrea Jacomet and a group of like-minded women. Alongside varied ski and splitboard tours, practical exercises and deepening your knowledge of mountain safety are the main focus.
