Due to a lack of snow, the hike on 2 January 2026 will take place without snowshoes. The start time, meeting point and end of the hike remain the same.
The route is adjusted flexibly according to snow and weather conditions to ensure safety and quality of experience.

Description
On this easy, nighttime snowshoe hike through the flat Ursern Valley, the landscape reveals itself from a new perspective. The Reuss babbles quietly as the moon or stars appear in the sky. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the lights of Andermatt – accompanied by a fine glass of mulled cider.
