Camping Viva

Description

The tranquil Viva nature campsite is located below the village of Rueras, in a beautiful open plain with sweeping views of the mountains. Situated right on the still-young Rhine, the campsite offers pitches with or without electricity for campers, caravans, vans, and tents. The campsite restaurant serves small, homemade specialties during the day and a set menu in the evening upon reservation. Bread service, a small shop with local products, a playground, barbecue areas, and sanitary facilities are available to guests.

In summer, an extensive network of hiking trails and bike paths awaits right outside your camper door. Day trips from the campsite quickly take you to Ticino, Valais, or Uri. In winter, the 15 km cross-country ski trail and numerous winter hiking trails pass directly by the campsite. The Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis ski arena is about a 5-minute drive or 1.3 km on foot via the winter hiking trail. Heated sanitary facilities and power connections at each pitch ensure the necessary comfort. For all camping enthusiasts without their own equipment, Camping Viva rents lovingly furnished tiny homes for 1-4 people in both summer and winter.
