Get started with the digital summer challenge and discover Andermatt, Sedrun and Disentis in a fun way. For every activity you complete, you’ll collect points in the app and reach new badge levels. This way, you’ll earn great rewards and experience the region from a new perspective.

The Summer Challenge runs from May to the end of October. Please note that individual offers may be seasonal.

Region Andermatt

Are you staying in the region and already have a digital Guest Card? Perfect! Add the ‘Mountain&TrainTicket’ to it and spend up to 7 days exploring the region using the mountain railways and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway.

Experience golf with a difference: using soft balls and portable tees, you’ll play your way through the streets of Andermatt, Sedrun or Disentis, over bridges and to various vantage points in the region.

The Diavolo via ferrata in the Schöllenen Gorge offers a varied climbing experience. The route leads up to the Tüfelstalboden via wire ropes, iron pegs, artificial steps and ladders.

The start of the route is about a 20-minute walk from Andermatt railway station. The return journey to Andermatt can be made via the Chilchenberg or Nätschen hiking trails, by the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway or by cable car.

The Sewen Hut (2,148 m above sea level) is located on a sunny terrace high above the Susten Pass road in the Meien Valley. The family-friendly “Zwergenweg” (dwarf trail) makes the ascent a particularly enjoyable experience.

Become part of the legend of the lost Irish gold and explore the village of Andermatt on an interactive treasure hunt. Using your smartphone, you’ll solve puzzles at various checkpoints and collect gold coins. Anyone who finds all the clues will be rewarded at the end.

The activity starts at Andermatt Tourist Information and can be booked online or in person.

Join Molly the marmot on a nature walk along the Unteralp circular trail in Andermatt.

At Andermatt Tourist Information, you can pick up an illustrated treasure map for CHF 5, showing the route, Molly’s favourite spots and questions about the tour. Anyone who cracks the code will receive a little surprise on their return.

You will receive the QR code when picking up the treasure map at the tourist information office.

At the midway station of the Gütsch-Express, you’ll find the Climbing Paradise, offering a variety of routes and difficulty levels (supervised daily, suitable for children weighing 10 kg or more). Tickets for the Climbing Paradise are available directly from the equipment hire desk.

In addition, the indoor sports centre in the Andermatt Reuss car park (P7) offers a wide range of activities such as bouldering, squash and table tennis. All necessary equipment is available on site.

The Mundart Café in Andermatt is a hub for art and creativity. In the studio, you can paint freely or take part in courses and workshops. The café serves homemade treats and is a lovely place to linger.

The adventure trail leads from Gütsch to Platte and features eight stations along the hiking route. Various interactive and discovery elements await visitors along the way.

The trail is wide and well-maintained, making it particularly suitable for families with children. It’s well worth stopping off at Lutersee for a short break or to cool off in the mountain water.

The starting point is at Gütsch and can be reached by gondola lift. You can find the QR code on the “precipitation” board.

The fitness trail in Hospental consists of twelve exercise stations. The stations help to build strength, coordination, flexibility and endurance, and are suitable for people of all fitness levels.

The trail starts in St. Anna Forest. From the Hotel St. Gotthard, follow Mühleweg, which passes under Gotthardstrasse and leads straight into the forest. After a few metres, you will reach the information board.

Region Disentis Sedrun

The Center Fontauna in Disentis is a versatile venue for sport, exercise and leisure. Whether it’s climbing, bouldering, tennis, mini-golf, fitness, an escape room or the indoor play area – individuals, families, groups and clubs will find the perfect activities here.

The hike to the source of the Rhine at Lake Toma is a special experience of nature. At an altitude of around 2,345 metres above sea level, this is where the Rhine, one of Europe’s most important rivers, rises.

The well-marked trail leads from the Oberalp Pass through an impressive alpine landscape with sweeping views, mountain meadows and peaceful stretches to the clear mountain lake.

Fun, games and relaxation at the Bogn Sedrun water park: early-morning swimming, a lazy river and a water slide offer plenty of variety. The wellness area is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Bialas Vacanzas is a varied holiday programme for children and families in Disentis Sedrun. Adventure days, creative craft sessions and animal encounters provide opportunities for play, exercise and discovery.

The Catrina Flow Trail in Disentis offers four kilometres of riding fun with steep bends and undulations – ideal for experienced cyclists. You can reach Caischavedra easily by gondola, and the trail is accessible via a chairlift.

At the Catrina Resort, a skills park with four varied routes also invites you to practise and let off steam.

The Catrina toboggan run on Caischavedra offers thrilling fun and a welcome change of pace for children and adults alike. Nestled amongst flowering meadows, it is a highlight for anyone who loves speed, adrenaline and outdoor adventures.

The walk to La Pendenta starts at the Center Fontauna in Disentis. An old, stone-paved path leads to the church of Sontga Gada and on to Graubünden’s longest suspension bridge: 280 metres long and 100 metres above the gorge of the young Rhine. From here, an impressive view opens up down into the depths, as well as towards the historic bridge on the old mule track to Mompé Medel and the Lukmanier Pass.

What is the NEAT Adventure Trail in Sedrun all about? Find out and come along! You’ll be accompanied by the friendly moles Mauro and Matteo. There are two options to choose from for the circular walk:

West circuit: Starts by the Rhine at Surrein, approx. 50 minutes, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
East circuit: Starts by the Rhine at Camping Viva in Rueras.

Each QR code can only be scanned once per user and earns you points for your challenge.

No, you are free to choose which and how many activities you do. However, the more you collect, the higher your score and the more valuable is your prize.

No, you can complete the challenge over the entire duration - at your own pace. All progress is saved in the app.

No, you are completely free in the choice and order of the posts. You can start wherever you want - whether in Andermatt, Sedrun or Disentis.

The Summer Challenge lasts until the end of October.

That is individual. Some collect everything in one weekend, others spread it over several trips. The app remembers your progress.

No, the Summer Challenge is suitable for all age groups. Some activities are specially designed for children (e.g. Molly's favourite places), while others require adult supervision.

No, parents can install the app on their own smartphone. They can use it to collect points for up to four children. The points are credited via the parents' account - the children are taken into account, but do not receive any additional points. We ask young people aged 16 and over to create their own account and collect points themselves.

A smartphone with the MountainAccess app is a prerequisite for participation, as the QR codes are scanned and points are awarded via the app. Children and young people up to the age of 16 can collect points together with an adult - the points are credited to the accompanying person's account.

The Summer Challenge is organised by Andermatt Sedrun Disentis Marketing AG, Andermatt-Urserntal Tourismus GmbH and Sedrun Disentis Tourismus SA (hereinafter referred to as the “organiser”).
Participation in the Summer Challenge is generally free of charge. However, certain activities or services on site may incur costs (e.g. entrance fees, transportation, third-party services). These costs are to be borne by the participants.
Participation is subject to the conditions described on the website: Sommer Challenge Andermatt Sedrun Disentis
Participants must be at least 18 years old (minors require parental consent). Employees of the organiser and their relatives are excluded.
Winners will be determined according to the defined criteria and notified accordingly. If a winner does not respond within a reasonable period, the prize will be forfeited.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be paid out in cash. Any additional costs are borne by the winners.
Any misuse, false information or manipulation will result in exclusion.
Personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the challenge.
The organiser reserves the right to modify or terminate the Summer Challenge at any time for good cause.
Liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Swiss law applies. Legal recourse is excluded.
