Description
The beautiful hiking trail starts at the Gemsstock railway and leads through the Tristel area up to Gigenstafel. Here benches invite you to rest and offer a beautiful view over the valley. Then you hike downhill through the St. Anna protected forest to Hospental. By train (approx. 5-10 minutes ride) or on foot (approx. 30 minutes) you can then return to Andermatt.
Place of power: The St. Anna alp and Gigenstafel offer the opportunity to connect with the landscape and its forces on two alp pastures. Another point for pausing is the St. Anna brook. It can be particularly well observed from the picnic area. The places of power along this route also appeal to those simply seeking a nature experience.
