Description
The Salbithütte is located at 2105 m above sea level in the Göschenertal and offers a lot. Besides the unique view, the Salbithütte has a lot to offer, including delicious dishes from its own alpine garden. The hut is known on one hand for families with children, and on the other, it is also situated in the middle of one of Switzerland's most famous climbing paradises. The Salbithänge Bridge has further increased the landscape's popularity. Moreover, thanks to the hanging bridge, more multi-day routes are possible.
The route starts at the Göschenen train station and first heads north across the bridge to a parking lot. At the end of the parking lot, hikers can follow the signpost and turn left. Passing the church, follow the markings to the well-developed mountain path. Through the forested slopes, steadily ascending, you then go up to Regliberg, where there is a great view of the Göschenertal valley. From there, it continues uphill to the Salbithütte.
